Description
Description on back of photograph: "These five boilers are being used to generate steam for a drilling well which may be up to 2000 feet away from the boiler setting. The steam is piped to the location through a 6 inch pipe line which can be see on the left hand side of the picture. This line is insulated to prevent heat losses during the time the steam travels to the well site. To the right of the boilers are two 500 barrel water tanks. Water in these tanks is treated to change the hard water to soft water so as to decrease the amount of scale deposited inside of the boilers."
