Photograph article dated October 5, 1957 partially reads, "W. A. Hixon, former minister of the Monroe Street Christian Church, Los Angeles, will preach his first sermon tomorrow as full-time minister of the First Christian Church of Sun Valley, 11311 Saticoy St. Installation services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. James Parrott, executive secretary of Christian Churches in Southern California, officiating. A reception will be held in the fellowship hall following services."
