Description
"Applied Materials presents 30th Anniversary Celebration Bob Dylan The Wallflowers Friday November 14, 1997 San Jose Arena" Bill Graham Special Events; Art Direction by Richard Garwacki, Design R. Tuten. A second show featuring Stevie Wonder and Margaret Cho was played at the University of Texas on the same day. According to the Mercury News, "This valley company [Applied Materials] scored a coup paying $1 million for the first joint appearance by rock legend Bob Dylan and his son Jakob, who fronts the band the Wallflowers. Unfortunately for the company's 15,000 local employees in attendance at HP Pavilion, the father-son duo shared the bill but didn't play together on stage."
