Photograph of a view of Broadway looking north from 24th Street before paving, October 31, 1930. The road runs from the foreground to the background at center. The surface has been torn up and resembles piles of rubble. An assortment of houses and tall trees lines the road. An apartment building can be seen in the background at right. Record #USC-0-1-1-163 shows the same scene in May 1931 with pavement completed.
