Children riding a camel with a man holding the bridle, on Windward Avenue in front of moorish-style buildings in Venice, California.
"Camel at Venice, Calif."--text, handwritten in pencil in front margin. Title devised by cataloger; date supplied by cataloger based on the history of the camel rides on the Midway Plaisance, Venice, which opened in 1906 and closed in 1910. (Los Angeles Times, April 3, 1911)
