Description
Ivey Lambert has ties with Sacramento City College, Mills College and Stanford University. Ms. Lambert includes historical information about the Depression era and the fact that her mother was in the 1906 earthquake. She also talks about her experience in California during World War II: "And you know, the men all went off to the service, and I was unmarried at that time and of course all the guys were gone and many of us went out to McClellan Air Force Base to be with the Gray Ladies and so forth, and help the soldiers write letters and do whatever, and so that was quite an interesting period."
