Photograph caption dated September 19, 1957 reads "Mrs. Arlene Virginia Lowe, 30, of 19010 Vose St., Reseda, shown with four of her children, was arraigned today in Van Nuys Municipal Court on hit and run felony charges arising out of death of Jimmy Di Giuseppe, 2, who was struck down and fatally injured last week. She denies being motorist involved. Children, from left, are Steven, 5; April Ann, 1 1/2; Darlene, 6 months, and Tommy, 4."
