Lana Turner is followed by her lawyer, Jerry Giesler, as she leaves the courtroom after her testimony. It took the jury only twenty-five minutes to come up with a verdict of justifiable homicide. Turner was not in the courtroom when the jury returned the verdict. When told of the news, she said, "Thank you, God." Cheryl Crane, however, would have to face a juvenile court hearing on April 21.
