Photograph of a drawing of "Study 4", a proposal for the Los Angeles Music Center, located at the corner of Sixth Street and Hoover Street, circa November 1950. "Elaborate entrance of the proposed Los Angeles Music Center (above) would be located opposite Lafayette Park on West Sixth Street. Plans call for colorful walkways and beautiful gardens with fountains. This center and a War Memorial Auditorium in the downtown area, would cost $31,500,000. Fund will be sought through bond issue election." -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 28 February 1950.
