Description
A closeup of a Chinese dragon float during a floral parade in Los Angeles, California, USA, Fay Altman, 1915 May 03. The view shows the float carried by quite a few persons and with some Chinese persons, one carrying a flag, walking along side of it. Portions of commercial buildings, including the Hotel Yale, and a fixture store and piano store, are in the background. An ink inscription on the reverse provides the date and the name of the photographer. Aside from dog-eared corners, some curvature of the paper, and light soiling, the condition is good.
