Description
Exterior view of the Baumgarteker's Winery, located at 278 N. Avenue 19 in Lincoln Heights, which was seized by federal agents with its contents of 700,000 gallons of wine and 200,00 gallons of brandy. The seizure, which resulted in the arrest of five Baumgarteker's asserted assistants, is said to be the largest in Southern California enforcement history. Photo dated January 9, 1930.
