Photograph of an exterior view of the newly opened (22 December 1901) Raymond Hotel, South Pasadena, from the front, ca.1901-1902. The basic four-story building has a portico entrance flanked by two seven-story square towers. The grounds in front of the hotel include a grassy lawn and many trees. Mountains are visible in the background. The cost of the new hotel was $550,000.
