Located nearby Baddhasīmā Pāsāda, a brick-lined bathing pool (now empty), with multi-levels and at left a narrow flight of steps. It is one of the many large pools built in the area for the storage of water (for drinking or bathing), due to the very dry climate of Polonnnaruva.
