"On Tuesdays we have the Football "big" side composed of the teachers, and apprentices, while on Wednesday's the smaller fry eagerly participate in their own game. They play with their bare feet, and remarkably good soccer players they are becoming. Football has to-day replaced for them the demoralising village dances, which they can no longer attend." The set of slides is the gift to the Kikuyu Mission of the Young Peoples Meeting at the Burgh Hall, Hillhead, of which he was for many years a member."
