Two rail cars sit on tracks that cross the image horizontally in front of the station the car at the left of the image is small and reads "East Los Angeles St. Main Street", while the car at the right edge of the image is larger and reads "Southern Pacific Rai[?]". A horse-drawn buggy sits in the foreground of the image. The image was originally a halftone illustration, and possibly depicts the Southern Pacific River Station, the first Southern Pacific station in Los Angeles.
