Description
Employees of a Killefer Manufacturing Corporation, stand in the parking lot outside a Killefer office, located at 3525 Downey Road in Huntington Park. The two men are identified as "Brodersen and Pistyanek." Killefer, established in 1892 in Los Angeles, produced heavy duty tillage implements for use on the West Coast. Deere & Company, who often contracted Killefer for equipment, eventually acquired the company in 1937. The central Los Angeles Killefer plant was closed on Jan. 6, 1969.
