This bridge is located at 6362 White Oak Avenue, just south of Victory Boulevard, in Encino. Photograph article dated September 27, 1960 partially reads, "Completion of the White Oak avenue bridge spanning the Los Angeles River flood control channel between Encino and Reseda is slated for early October, Los Angeles City officials announced today. Workmen are installing curbs, gutters and paving on the approaches to the six-lane span as the final phase of construction. Total cost of construction the bridge was $288,191 with improvement of approaches accounting for an additional $110,517. The city and county divided the expense."
