Photograph caption dated December 20, 1950 reads, "Mrs. J. Kind Ross of 19451 Ventura Blvd., Tarzana, gives litter of French poodles their baby food ration. There are nine pups in the litter. They were born on Armistice Day. The Rosses expect the pups will make good show dogs when they get old enough to take part in shows."
