Description
An ms. lot map of property being sold by the San Gabriel Wine Company, on the verso of a sheet of company letterhead. A rectangle is divided into twelve evenly sized lots in two rows with one larger lot on the far right. The area is bounded by Ramona Avenue at the top, Wilson Avenue on the left, El Monte County Road on the bottom, and De Barth Avenue on the right. Each of the twelve smaller lots is labeled with a large capital letter, with a smaller note of the exact size of the land, and penciled notes listing the buyers' names.
Ms. note at the top reads "Ramona: Block 18 - Lots 1. 2. 3, original divisions, subdivided into 12 lots for Press Colony, No A to L." Ms. note at bottom reads "Each lot containing over 1/2 acre: from 22085 [square] feet to 23660 [square] feet. (the area of 1/2 acre being = 21780 [square] feet)". The names on the lots are: A - Stevens, B - Maddrill, C - Taylor, D - Brook, E - Kent, F- Burton, G - Miller, H - Spaulding, I - Richardson, J - Nast, K - McIntosh, and L - Pyke.
