Description
The invitation to the October 6, 1949 opening of the newly renamed Crest Theater, formerly Hippodrome requested the presence of chosen guest to attend the Gala Invitational Opening. The informal reception is slated to be held at the Empire Room of the Hotel Senator. Guest were invited by Charles P. Skouras, President of the Fox West Coast Theatres which operate the movie house and recent recipient of California’s Golden Bear Award for humanitarianism at this year’s State Fair.
