C. Lorenz said small cracks found in concrete slabs at the development "are normal - you could find similar cracks in any home." Thousand Oaks geologist Robert Skinner had charged foundations and walls in the Shadow Oaks tract in Thousand Oaks showed signs of crackling, although many of the concrete slabs were laid only six months ago."
