Hegenberger, army officers and woman beside plane.
Maitland and Hegenberger flew the first flight from Oakland and Honolulu. Took off from Oakland on June 28th, landed at Wheeler Field Hawaii June 29th. Flew U.S. Army Fokker C2-3 Bird of Paradise, a tri-motor Fokker monoplane.
