Description
On reverse: [printed] Bed of colorful cannas near the bluff's edge in Palisades Park, Wilshire Boulevard and Ocean Avenue, Santa Monica. This view,with its picturesque, windshaped trees and distant background of scenic grandeur, is long remembered by Southern California visitors. [in pen] Hi Mom! - just a line to let you know Geanie has a baby boy, 5 lbs, 14 oz, she named it Michael. I'm so glad its a boy. Mom she's in Oklahoma now. That's not so far from Calif. Well bye now, love Bertha. Postmark: August 8, 1954.
