Exterior view of the old Bella Union Hotel, standing on North Main Street, across from the post office. Built originally as a one story adobe by Don Benito Wilson, for whom Mount Wilson is named, it later was improved. This photo shows it in 1876 when it was still a center for banquet, weddings, funerals, and even an occasional shooting duel. Photograph dated: July 8, 1936.
