Description
An Incline car called the "White Chariot" pauses on its journey up to Echo Mountain as the founder of the Mount Lowe Railway, Professor T.S.C. Lowe (in the center of the middle row) points his umbrella at sights downhill. In the background is the Echo Mountain House Annex, called The Chalet, built at the top of the hill, with 12 bedrooms and a dining room for overnight guests.
