Description
Image of the S.S Mary Slessor, the Elder Dempster liner built in 1930 for West African trade. The ship was registered in Liverpool and was sunk by a mine in 1943. Mary Slessor (1848-1915) was a Scottish Missionary known for her work in Africa and for promoting women's rights.
