Description
Photograph of the construction of Boulder Dam, showing a river between mountains, ca.1930. Two daunting walls of jagged rock stand in opposition with the calm river flowing between them. The water travels from the foreground on the right and out of sight through an opening on the left. At the edge of both banks near the entrance to the opening on the left stand what appear to be two short, darkly-colored towers which rest in the water.
