Photograph caption dated July 14, 1956 reads, "Well, what do you know - Mickey seems facinated [sic] as Mrs. Art bottle-feeds one of baby squirrels its special formula of powdered milk food. She started litter on regular milk, switched to lime water when they failed to digest it and finally settled on baby formula. Mrs. Art, who had planned to free squirrels after they achieved their full growth, changed her mind when she learned they would live several years longer if kept as pets than facing dangers of wild life."; See images #00145898 through #00145904 for all photos in this series.
