Film writer Faith Thomas holds up an autographed picture of herself and screen actress Ruth Roland, taken when they were co-producers. She had been called as a witness (although she was not allowed to testify) in the fight over the will of Ruth Roland in which Roland's father, John Roland, requested that his daughter's secret diaries be opened. He was denied again. Dated: March 22, 1938.
