Description
A woman in a dress from 1833. The woman wears a short-sleeved ankle-length blue dress. The off-the-shoulder neck is edged with white lace. The dress has wide puffed sleeves that are decorated with ribbons of the same blue as the dress, and epaulettes of the same fabric as the dress. Her bodice is pleated horizontally at the top, and the bottom is fitted. She wears a gold brooch with three dangling beads at the neck. The bodice is edged with a blue cord that is tied in a small bow, with tassels and the ends. The skirt has a wide pattern of twining leaves along the hem. She wears white slippers, white gloves, gold earrings, and holds a white handkerchief in her right hand. She wears a blue pleated turban with white ribbon detailing and a white feather peeking out from the back of the turban. Her hair is dressed in two bunches of curls. She looks to the left.
