Description
Article in "The Aztec", the San Diego State University newspaper. The article describes the presence of San Diego State students, faculty and administration at the departure of Japanese Americans at the local Union Depot. The article lists the students who have withdrawn from the school, describes the plans of some to continue their education elsewhere and the perception by a faculty/administrator, Dr. Dotson, that the students are looked upon as leaders in their community. Dotson states that [he] commends students for "accepting the inevitable" as a "patriotic service."
