Philippine Day took place Sunday, September 7, 1947, at the California Sate Fair in Sacramento. The Omos and other Filipino families traveled up and down the state to raise money for this event. The program contains advertisements from Filipino businesses all over the central valley, including a tribute advertisement from the Filipino Labor Foremen Contractors.
