Description
Militia Muster taken March 12, 1863 for the Redwood Calvary, Company E., of the First Calvary Regiment. The muster lists 36 individuals and appears to be signed by "A. Woodhouse." The muster is written on an invoice for G.H. Grove saddlery of Santa Clara. The muster took place in Saratoga, which is here referred to by its earlier name of McCartysville.
