E.G., D. Rogus, H.M.R. Chase, B. Howitt, P.D., Ott, A. Hellman, K. Rogus, G.E., K. Burns and R. Rathburn gather on The Mount Tamalpais Military Academy's tennis court, March 1914. Beatrice Howitt was the daughter of Dr. Henry Orton Howitt who practiced medicine in San Rafael, California beginning in 1893. He was also the doctor for The Mount Tamalpais Military Academy. MTMA was a private military school which later became the San Rafael Military Academy. Marin Academy now resides on that property in San Rafael, California.
