Description: Six fruit pickers pose in an orchard owned by Abram Block. At their feet are wooden crates, some empty, some filled with newly picked pears. Abram Block was an orchardist, fruit packer, and fruit shipper. He was highly regarded for the quality of his fruit, and pears were one of his specialties. Block owned several orchards, and the location of the one in this photograph is not known.
