Description
This photograph shows a vista of Turlock, California, circa 1910. The view is from the west looking east along West Main Street. The two story building with the spire is the Fairview Grammar School. The large building on the right side of the street is the Swedish Mission Church. It was built in 1908 and incorporated the original church on this location into its expanded structure. The name of the Swedish church evolved, as did its building, to become the Beulah Covenant Church.
