(from left) Santos, Vera, Della, Bernadette, Jennie, Patty Rico with friends picking apricots in Hemet at Schwabe Farms. Apricots used to be picked and sun dried by hand. Apricots were cut in half and the halves were placed face up on the large trays which are stacked in this picture.
