Description
A large wagon with wood or metal wheels is decorated with striped and starred bunting. The wagon has been pulled under the branches of a spreading oak tree. There are approximately forty four people standing in the bed of the wagon. The group has been tentatively identified as members of a Sunday School on a picnic. The bunting on the wagon appears to have a patriotic theme and their picnic may be part of July 4th celebrations. They appear to be mostly children dressed in their best clothing. Notice all but a few of the youngest wear hats. Two boys in the front wear ruffled collars that were a variation of the popular "Lord Fauntleroy" suit.
