Description
Photograph of a parade of naval officers riding in automobiles approaching Meridian Corners. A line of automobiles is carrying the officers west down Stevens Creek Boulevard from the direction of San Jose. They are welcomed by a small crowd of people at Meridian Corners, a cluster of buildings at the corner of Stevens Creek Boulevard and Saratoga Avenue. Some people are standing while others sit in automobiles or carriages. The naval officers were attached to the Great White Fleet which was then anchored in San Francisco Bay. The officers had arrived earlier that day by train and after lunch were being given an automobile tour of Santa Clara County.
