Portrait of the Werder family; image shows four figures, identified as Johanna Aldophine Eliese Werder (ně Brett) seated front left, and her husband, Herman Ludwig Werder seated front right; standing at left behind Mrs. Werder is grandson Gus Bennerscheidt [son of their daughter, Johanna], and sitting on chair arm at right behind Mr. Werder is another grandson, Adolph Niehaus [son of their daughter, Carlotta Mina].
