W. P. A. Adobes vol.
View south toward the Peralta Settlement of the San Antonio - Yorba Chapel in 1935. The walls of the adobe chapel are visible with a newer wooden chapel to the right and a horse grazing nearby. Hills are visible in the background with what seem to be train tracks in the foreground. This was the only adobe rancho chapel in this county. It was situated on the Bernardo Yorba Rancho "...about 320 yards southwest of his house and at the rear of the present (1936) St. Anthony frame chapel. It was built, in fact, by Don Bernardo and furnished for the most part by his wife." It was located on Rancho Canon de Santa Ana.
