An interior photograph of the Brand Library entrance and information desk taken sometime during its opening year in 1956. The Brand Library is the art and music section of the Glendale Public Library. Many of the shelves are empty. Original decorative features include the chandelier, fireplace mantel and carved Corinthian columns leading into the reference room. The Brand Library was once the home of Leslie C. Brand.
