During the summer of 1981, Joan Larcom and Ann Skinner Jones stayed in Wintua's Presbyterian Women's Missionary Union (PWMU) house, which served as the village guest house. The curious children were particularly eager to follow the guests and camera around the village and are seen here waiting for the women to emerge from the guest house.
