Description
Crushed Slag Layer -- Crushed slag layer. Contains dense accumulations of crushed slag with nearly no other element. Immediate proximity to tap slag layers of L1827, but no tap slag in crushed slag layer. Layer extends below man structure. -- Represents slag crushing acivity spread at large parts of the area, predating the main phase of construction of the 9th century to which the large building belongs.
