Description
Additional poster text: Mach’s mit. [Join in] Date on back of poster, 1995, reflects when the vendor received the copy later acquired by the UCLA Library. Simple line drawing of the ocean, with a condom placed above it representing the sun. "Mehr" is a homophone for "Meer," which means "ocean," allowing for a play on words with "Sun, sand and surf." Part of two public AIDS campaigns in Germany: Gib AIDS keine Chance [Don't give AIDS a chance], and Mach’s mit [Join in]. Poster held by Louise M. Darling Biomedical Library.
