Description
In lower left-hand corner: Conception : JFB/Combat. Date on back of poster, 2006, reflects when the vendor received the copy later acquired by the UCLA Library. Poster depicts the Statue of Liberty holding a machine gun and a bomb. With the black background, title in red letters and the use of an iconic symbol, poster promotes political activism in the fight against AIDS and implies that the U.S. is less aggressive in the war against AIDS than in other situations that result in military intervention.
