Negative sleeve reads 1929, however calendar present in image is for March 1927. This date is also supported by the fact that Workman was in office as the City Council President from 1919-1927. He later ran for Mayor in 1929, but lost the election.
City Council President Boyle Workman sits at his desk smiling while on the telephone. Calendar from March 1927 behind his left shoulder reads "Blow not in to a flame the spark which is kindled between two friends. They are easily reconciled and will both hate you."
