Nancie Monteux strikes a ballet pose backstage during a Young People's Concert. She stands en pointe at center with arms in fourth position and smiles to the camera. She dons a full-length ruffled skirt. Behind her, a wall enters frame at right and angles back to the left. Crates and other equipment sit against the base of the wall. In the distance at left, a man stands and looks towards camera.
