Judge Holland sits at his desk with a placard baring his name. In spite of William Freelove's efforts to lessen his sentence, claiming that under a Penal Code section he could not be required to serve more than six months in lieu of his sentence of a $500 fine and 250 days in jail, the defendant was given into custody of the Sheriff.
