Description
Access to this collection is generously supported by Arcadia funds. Boy scouts sit along the sloped shore of Jackson Lake with their backs to the camera. Beyond them in the lake, about 6 people stand aboard a showboat just left-of-center, that floats in the water. One person sits on the side and dangles their feet into the water. The boat appears to still be tethered to a dock that extends into the water from the left. A canoe (partial view) enters the frame on the right and series of buoys in the water create a barrier between the showboat and the canoe. On the opposite a shore, a man stands to the left of the showboat and a woman in a dress stands to the right of the showboat. Elevated above them, about 8 cars appear parked on a road that slants downward from left to right.
